After the election, your letters and cards,
phone calls, and e-mails have been an overwhelming source of
support for me, my family, and my staff.
For the last 27 years, we together have
worked to erase injustice, establish equality, and improve the
quality of life for all Pennsylvanians. It has been your
constant dedication that has allowed me to fight for the things
that matter. We should all be proud of what we have
accomplished, but, more importantly, it is imperative that we
continue to stand up and fight for those who have no voice. We
must continue to look forward instead of reflecting on the past.
When I announced my bid for re-election back in March, I did so
knowing that there is so much more to be done for our great
Commonwealth. Although the challenges may seem greater, it's our
ideals, conviction, and courage that keep our hope for a better
Pennsylvania alive.
I look forward to continuing the work we
started those many years ago, and I know you will do the same.
